Google’s ChatGPT Rival Criticized… But It Doesn’t Matter

Google unveiled a sneak demo of its ChatGPT Rival “Gemini” this week. The demo made it look really easy, and apparently, it’s harder to use than what the marketing portrayed.

Users shouldn’t expect the product in practice to work as well as what you see in the demo. For now. If we’ve learned anything about Google over the last 20 years, it’s that Google products exponentially improve over time.

Compare Youtube or Gmail in 2008 versus 2023. Now imagine what can be done in AI.

Like any new tech, AI tools and products are easy to criticize. The ones who win will be those who see the growth potential amid the undeveloped muck. The opportune needle in the proverbial haystack.
